Brookside Gardens is a colorful 50-acre garden within Wheaton Regional Park and features a vibrant variety of areas – Aquatic Garden, Azalea Garden, Butterfly Garden, Children’s Garden, Rose Garden, Japanese Style Garden, Trial Garden, Rain Garden, and even a Woodland Walk.
Scheduled for November 25, 2016, to January 1, 2017, the Garden of Lights is a dazzling display of one million lights shaped into hand-crafted flowers, animals, and other natural elements. After strolling through this eye-catching garden, you can visit the nearby Conservatory to watch G-scale model trains wind through a charming seasonal landscape. Then be sure to hit the Visitors Center to warm up with hot cocoa and pleasant tunes during one of the nightly musical performances.
