Since 1949, the Montgomery County Agricultural Fair – Maryland’s largest county fair – has showcased the county’s rich, colorful farm life. Held this year from August 11-29, this week-long celebration is a family event with carnival rides; live animals; and a variety of entertainment, food, and fun activities for all ages.
Get an up-close view of adorable and personality-packed farm animals like prize-winning goats, sheep, pigs, dairy cattle, and horses. Cheer loudly to the high-octane action of monster truck races, tractor pulls, and demolition derbys. Take a few spins on a variety of classic fair rides. Munch on beloved fair food like funnel cake. You can also buy quilting, clothing, canned goods, baked goods, and vegetables from local farmers.
What are you waiting for? Grab the family and come on out to the fair! See you there!
