Not ready to call it quits on the holiday season? Check out Holly TrolleyFest at the National Capital Trolley Museum on Saturday, December 30!
Located at Northwest Branch Park in Silver Spring, Maryland, the Trolley Museum preserves and interprets the history of Washington’s electric street railways. Its collections include 17 streetcars from Washington and other cities, and the museum operates many on a mile-long demonstration railway. In addition, the museum features an O-scale model layout depicting a Washington streetscape from the 1930s, a film program, and traditional exhibits of street railway artifacts and photographs.
Holly TrolleyFest features Santa riding aboard street cars and toy trains, as well as visiting with children in attendance. Learn more at www.dctrolley.org/events.php.
